Ancestral methods
Asselin strives to make all pieces, elements or acessories using the oldest methods. Since the forge is located within our woodshop, it is able to work closeley with the design office and the carpenters.
Ironwork can therefore be perfectly fitted to woodwork, with tests carried out in the workshop to ensure problem-free installation once on site.
The choicest materials; exceptional finishings
Iron is wrought using traditional methods, and bronze may be chiselled, while there is a wide range of available patinas and ageing techniques: finishings can be rustic, gilded in fine gold or anything in between. Another of Asselin's art is locksmithing. We can offer you traditionally wrought iron, chiselled bronze, and finishing in fine gold, amongst other techniques, according to the required period.
