QUALIBAT

QUALIBAT was founded in 1949 on the initiative of the Ministry of Construction and by a number of professional bodies of entrepreneurs, architects and project managers. It serves to evaluate the activities, professional skills and abilities of companies working in the construction industry.

Nearly 33,000 such companies of all sizes and specialities now hold QUALIBAT certificates.

Asselin holds the Charpente 21 label, a quality mark for made-to-measure traditional timberworks meeting three main criteria:

guaranteing a perfect mastery of the technical specificities,

long-term commitment to protection of the environment,

lowering the risk of accidents and work-related illnesses by making firm commitments to improvement of working conditions.

FSC and PEFC labels

An environmental approach and sustainable development lie at the heart of our concerns and are present at every stage of our work, particularly as regards adherence to energy standards and the traceability of our supplies. Asselin gets its supplies from FSC and PEFC (Pan European Forest Certification) certified companies.

Sustainable development and energy saving

Asselin is a signatory of the FFB "Build with the environment" charter and has obtained the "Energy Savings" label, the first stage towards its "energy renovation" label awarded by Qualibat to holders of a qualification who have followed the FEEBAT modules.

Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company)

Asselin is labelled "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company). This network of excellence serves to promote French skills and know-how and to serve as a reference for consumers and clients who wish to hire a professional firm that is recognised for its respect of the craft and its aptitude to supply services of an exceptional quality.

Companies bearing the "EPV" label are able to undertake work on "off-specification" projects, to accept the most original contracts, and to offer unique and made-to-measure solutions to satisfy the most high-end requirements and the most demanding clients.

Asselin uses or reintroduces ancestral and original techniques, but never hesitates to innovate and to invent new procedures or products to meet the needs of a modern market.
